Always ad-supported live TV; no ad-free option (the Entertainment base plan is charted). Renamed repeatedly: launched as DirecTV Now (2016), became AT&T TV Now (2019), then ran alongside AT&T TV (2020), which was rebranded DirecTV Stream when AT&T spun off DirecTV with TPG. In April 2025 DirecTV retired the standalone 'DirecTV Stream' brand and folded the streaming service into its main DIRECTV offering. The charted line follows the entry-level base package through these renames (Live a Little to Plus to Entertainment). Signature tiers (Choice and above) carry a Regional Sports Network fee up to $19.99/mo, and the optional Gemini device is ~$10/mo; these fees are not included in the tracked headline price. A free ad-supported tier, MyFree DIRECTV, also exists. Genre Packs (MySports, MyEntertainment, MyNews, MiEspañol, MyKids) launched in 2024-2025 as lower-cost curated bundles and are listed as a current snapshot rather than charted. On 2026-06-25 several Genre Packs rose (MyEntertainment $35 to $43, MyNews $40 to $45, MiEspañol $35 to $38, MyKids $20 to $21) while the new MySports Genre Pack held at $65; the legacy 'MySports Original' plan rose from $70 to $80, and add-ons MySports Extra ($13 to $14) and MyCinema ($9.99 to $10.99) also increased. Signature packages (Choice and above) rose in the same round, but DirecTV communicated those per-customer without publishing uniform figures.
